Founded in 2008, the Yakima Griffins have grown into a thriving co-ed rugby club, providing youth aged 7 to 18 from the greater Yakima area the chance to experience the exciting world of rugby. Our mission is to teach rugby fundamentals, foster friendships, and develop leadership skills both on and off the field.

Over the years, we’ve achieved remarkable success, including a Division Title and multiple top placements in state playoffs. We’re proud to have coached local athletes who have gone on to excel at Division I and II collegiate levels, compete for National 7s Championship contenders, and join men’s leagues across the Pacific Northwest. In 2022, one of our talented female players earned a spot on the Washington High School All-Stars Team.
